The Ford Bronco is an excellent choice for drivers who are interested in exploring the wilds around Houston, Sugarland, and Missouri City, Texas. However, if you’re looking to make the Ford Bronco feel more like it’s made for you, customization is the answer. The Bronco has several different customization options that you can choose from, including colors, trim levels, engines, and available features.

Ford Bronco Trim Levels

The Ford Bronco has seven trim levels: Base, Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands, Wildtrak, and First Edition.

The first trim of the Bronco is called the Base trim. It’s equipped with the standard 2.3L EcoBoost® engine with 270 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. Its drivetrain is a standard 4x4 with Part-Time Selectable Engagement, which offers drive modes to increase wheel torque when you need it.

One of the middle trims is the Outer Banks trim. The standard SYNC® 4 infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen gets a bit of an upgrade with Enhanced Voice Recognition. You can keep your hands on the wheel while you:

• Make calls
• Stream music
• And more

The next trim available is the Badlands trim. This is one of the trims that makes going off-road a blast. You’ll have standard bash plates to protect the underside of your Bronco. It also has front- and rear-locking differentials, monotube shocks, and all-terrain tires.

The highest trim level is the First Edition trim. With this trim, you get leather-trimmed seats and First Edition hood and bodyside graphics.

The Bronco gives you multiple packages to select from, including the Standard, Mid Package, High Package, Lux Package, and Sasquatch™ Package.

• The Standard Package offers LED headlamps, black accents on the door handles, mirror caps, fender flares, and more. You’ll also get a push-button start, so you don’t have to fish your keys out of your pocket or bag.

• If you choose the Mid Package, you’ll get a lot of enhancements to the systems you get with the Bronco. Your infotainment system gets Enhanced Voice Recognition, for example. Also, your front seats are heated, and you can get a Remote Start System.
• The High Package offers you more driver-assist and safety features, like a 360-Degree Camera and a Forward Sensing System. So you can hear your music or conversations with passengers, this package also has sound-deadening materials.
• One of the highest packages is the Lux Package. With this package, the sound system in the Bronco gets an upgrade to the B&O® Sound System with 10 speakers. Other technologies in this package include:
  • Voice-Activated Touchscreen Navigation System
  • Wireless charging pad
  • Heated steering wheel
• The Sasquatch™ Package is the package for those who love off-roading. You’ll get 35-inch Mud-Terrain tires, electronic-locking front and rear axles, and a high-clearance suspension. The Wildtrak and First Edition trims come standard with this package, so you can take on the great outdoors.
