The Mustang is a powerful vehicle with a few different engine options to choose from. Each engine has the option of a 6-speed manual transmission for that more involved driving experience or an available 10-speed automatic transmission.

A standard 2.3L EcoBoost^® engine kicks off things and delivers 310 horsepower. There’s a high-output 2.3L EcoBoost^® engine with 330 horsepower for a bit more oomph.

Another engine option is the 5.0L V8 engine with 450 horsepower when you choose the GT trim. Other trims like the Mach I have the same engine with 470 horsepower.

The Shelby GT500 has the most powerful engine: a 5.2L V8 engine that delivers a whopping 760 horsepower.

To customize your drive, the Mustang has available drive modes like:
