Performance and Capability
The Expedition is a powerful SUV with a standard 3.5L EcoBoost® V6 engine under the hood. It delivers 380 horsepower with the XLT and XLT trims, and 400 horsepower with the Limited, King Ranch, and Platinum trims. It works with a standard 10-speed automatic transmission with SelectShift®.
As we’ve mentioned, the Expedition is an SUV made for adventure. With it, you can tow a maximum of 9,300 pounds when properly equipped. That’s enough power to tow things like:

Inside the ExpeditionThe interior of the Expedition is spacious and comfortable. There’s 171.9 cubic feet of maximum passenger space, and a maximum of 104.6 cubic feet of cargo space—so whatever you need the room for in the Expedition, you’ll have it. Cloth seats are standard, although you can upgrade to leather-trimmed seating. Depending on which configuration you choose, the Expedition can fit up to eight people. Safety and Driver-Assist Features
