Trouble Indicators


The following indicators will display when serious trouble or fault is indicated by the vehicle. This can usually be to the main components of the vehicle.

  • Engine Temperature Indicator – When this indicator light displays in red, it means the engine temperature is too high. You should stop the vehicle and turn off the engine as soon as possible.
  • Oil Warning Light – This indicator displays when your oil level is low. This indicator can also display with a wavy line below it, indicating that oil pressure is low. Regardless of which displays, you should have your oil level checked.
  • Brake Trouble Indicator – If this indicator is displayed, it means there could be a serious problem with your brakes. However, this light is also what displays if your emergency brake is engaged. If you have your emergency brake in the proper position and not engaged, and this light still displays, you will want to go for service immediately.

  • Tire Pressure Monitor Indicator – This light displays when the tire pressure is low on one or more tires. It means that the tire pressure has reduced 25 percent or more and you should add air to your tires.
